Ingredients

1 large store-bought pizza crust
½ cup prepared pizza sauce
¼ - ½ cup grated or finely shredded parmesan cheese
8 oz. fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
½ - 1 cup ground Italian sausage (cooked, crumbled, and drained of excess grease)
1 cup Paisley Farm Marinated Mushrooms and Zesty Garlic, drained (left whole or roughly chopped)
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Place the pizza crust on a pizza stone/pan or large baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving about a 1-inch edge. Next, sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the sauce followed by a layer of the sliced mozzarella. Top the cheese with Italian sausage and marinated mushrooms.
  3. Bake until the crust is golden brown and crisp and the cheese is bubbling, about 20 to 25 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve. Enjoy!
