Deep Fried Hot Sprouts
Crispy, deep fried Hot Brussels Sprouts bring the flavor with a touch of heat.
Ingredients
1 24 oz jar Paisley Farm Hot Brussels Sprouts
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs (beaten)
2 cups panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese (grated)
Salt/Pepper
Canola oil to fry
Buffalo sauce to dip
Optional
Bleu cheese and ranch to dip
Instructions
- Drain jar of Paisley Farm Hot Brussels Sprouts and set aside.
- Mix parmesan cheese with panko breadcrumbs and set in a bowl. Next set eggs in a bowl and flour in a separate bowl as well.
- Heat large skillet to medium/high heat and add oil. Oil should go no higher than 2 inches up the side. Heat until bubbling.
- Coat Hot Brussels Sprouts to fry. First coat in flour, then dip in egg, and finally into the panko/parmesan mixture.
- Add coated sprouts to the oil to fry until golden and crispy (takes about 1-2 minutes a side).
- Place fried sprouts on a plate topped with paper towel.
- Season with salt and pepper, serve with buffalo sauce and enjoy!
